Dry Wall

This week the dry wall was started! I don't know how things are "normally" done, but they installed the interior doors and their casings, then removed the doors. The rationale is that they are then better able to dry wall up to the casings and get a better fit. The doors will be reinstalled later.

First, a couple of shots looking toward the kitchen.

Then from the kitchen toward the spare bedrooms.

Looking at both ends of the dining room.

This shows the sliding door between the master bedroom and the bath. The doors will be stained to match the cabinets and trim throughout the house

Here are two pics of the shop and one one of the finishing room.

Obviously, there is a lot of dry wall to be hung yet, then there is all the taping and sanding of the seams. I don't know if they will be able to finish all of that this week or not. The amazing thing is that no dry wall had been hung when Michelle and Gail were there Thursday noon, so all this was done in a day and a half!

Comments are welcomed and encouraged.

A finishing room this time, eh? Pretty slick. Oh, and the drywall looks pretty good too. :)
